This volume is entitled "The Indonesian Enterprise" and comprises two sections. Part I describes Indonesian government policies for national growth and the resulting economic development.In part II the profiles of a number of major public and private Indonesian companies are presented.This volume also presents a comprehensive overview of the concept and processes adopted in Indonesia's national development during the past quarter of a century.The first long term phase of national development took place through a series of five year development plans known by the acronym of PELITA and designed with three fold objectives of political stability, economic growth, and social justice.
